01. How do we book you for the wedding?
Booking is simple. Send us an enquiry through our contact page with your date and venue, and we will confirm availability and walk you through the package options. Once you choose your collection, a signed agreement and booking fee secure your date.
02. Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. We love photographing destination weddings and are happy to create a custom quote for travel and accommodation. Every detail is discussed upfront so you know exactly what to expect.
03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
We work with you before the wedding to create a clear list of family groupings so the process is smooth and stress free. On the day we guide everyone clearly, keep things relaxed and move efficiently so you can get back to enjoying your celebration.
04. Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture this season of your story. They can be booked on their own or added to your wedding collection at a discounted rate.
05. What should we wear?
Neutral tones and simple textures photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection. Once you book, we are happy to help you coordinate outfits so everything feels cohesive without being overly styled.
06. Do you photograph weddings outside Canterbury?
Yes. We are happy to travel throughout New Zealand for weddings and elopements. Travel costs vary depending on the location and will be quoted clearly before you confirm your booking.
07. What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If there is severe rain or very strong winds we would reach out to you early on and arrange an alternative day and time for your shoot (excl weddings). We want to ensure we can capture only the best quality images for you and as such won't want you to be uncomfortable, cold or wet!
08. Can you recommend any good locations?
Yes, we are surrounded by beautiful landscapes and are happy to travel to locations. Reach out via our contact page with your questions or vision and we will work with you to plan the perfect shoot at the perfect location.
09. How long does it take to receive our photos?
For portrait sessions, galleries are usually delivered within two to three weeks. Wedding galleries take six to eight weeks. We always keep you updated so you know exactly when to expect your finished images.
10. How many photos do i get?
The number of included images vary with our packages. Each have a set number of images included and you are able to purchase additional photos if there are more that catch your eye. Hop to our Services page to review our offers.
11. Do you help with posing during the session?
Yes. We guide you gently so you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Our approach focuses on authentic connection and genuine moments rather than stiff posing, so you always know what to do without feeling directed.
12. How long does a session take?
Most portrait sessions run for about an hour while weddings vary depending on the collection you choose. We allow enough time so you never feel rushed and can fully enjoy the experience.
